The Production Supervisor oversees, monitors, and coordinates all activities of the night shift team. The Production Supervisor plays a key role in facilitating the production assembly line and offering leadership skills to their production team. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Support all production departments fill in wherever needed
  • Assist in overseeing day to day production operations
  • Drive efficiencies and eliminate waste through use of lean manufacturing concepts
  • Enforce all quality processes and work standards
  • Enforce all company policy and procedure
  • Comply with all safety standards
  • Develop and implement SOP's and work standards
  • Develop & build cross-functional work groups
  • Support and maintain 5S program
  • Collect production data and complete time studies
  • Compile data into basic operations reports
  • Complete operations systems transactions 
  • Oversee training for all production operation employees
  • GMP Knowledge

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 5 years production operations experience
  • 2-5 years experience supervising others
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing concepts
  • Food manufacturing experience
  • Basic knowledge of microsoft office
  • Proficient in excel a plus
  • Previous experience working with WMS
  • Read English
  • 18 years of age and older
  • Forklift and pallet jack is a plus
  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus
  • Canning experience a plus
