The maintenance technician is responsible for performing a variety of duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment in accordance with safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems. The maintenance technician focuses on processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives.

This is a night shift position; hours are Monday through Friday from 4:00 pm to 2:00 am with some on call responsibilities. 


  • Perform mechanical, electrical, and structural repairs
  • Perform routine building and preventive maintenance
  • Minimize equipment down time to maximize productivity
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders
  • Diagnose problems, test adjustments, and repair parts
  • Maintain maintenance logs, data entry, and work order requests
  • Order replacement parts and equipment as needed
  • Operate hand and power tools, electric meters, and other material handling equipment
  • Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions
  • Perform routine safety and risk audits
  • Maintain shop and equipment in world class condition
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)
  • Comply with all safety and OSHA regulations
  • Meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
  • Support all corporate operations and facilities, and fill in as needed


  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and climbing
  • Exposure to cold temperatures in freezers up to -36 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Potential for loud noise levels


  • Great communication skills
  • Must be a results driven, self-starter
  • Critical thinking and problem solving abilities
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office capabilities


  • Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and industrial skills preferred
  • Experience with lean concepts (TMP) preferred
  • Welding & Fabrication experience is a plus
  • Experience in a Food Manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience with PLC and HVAC preferred
  • Experience with High Speed Automation preferred
  • High school diploma
  • Associates in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred
